Maryam tells Imran: Begin Jail Bharo Tehreek from Zaman Park

Maryam advises Imran Khan to start by taking down the women's shield he had been using to protect himself.

MULTAN: Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president and boss coordinator for the Pakistan Muslim Association Nawaz (PMLN), stated on Monday that Imran Khan, leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), should dispatch his "Prison bharo tehreek" (court capture development) from his Zaman Park residence.

She told the media in this location that although the public authority was waiting for the "Prison Bharo Tehreek," Imran Khan should first get rid of the women who had been serving as his bodyguards.

Imran Khan, the previous leader, had reported the development last week after clearly coming to a standstill in his attempts to convince the PMLN-led government to hold elections in Punjab and KP and shield it from "political exploitation."

The PMLN leader claimed that while Nawaz Sharif left the public economy in good shape in 2018, it crashed under the PTI administration led by Imran Khan. She asserted that in a matter of a few years, the achievements of the previous PMLN government were lost, creating avenues for growth while leaving the average person with a less than ideal outcome. Maryam claimed that although the coalition government in question needed to provide the greatest assistance possible to individuals, it was unable to do so due to the agreement that Imran Khan's administration had signed with the International Monetary Fund.

She claimed that although the PTI government had taken over, Pakistan had a high rate of monetary growth—5.8 percent—it had undoubtedly slowed the pace of advancement. She claimed that PM Shehbaz Sharif was working nonstop to steer the economy in a clear and controlled cost climb that had resulted from several unsatisfactory PTI administration policies.

The problems the country had to deal with during the four years of the PTI's "mismanagement" would demand investment, she continued. Maryam noted that Nawaz Sharif had reached an agreement with the IMF in 2016, but that its weight had not been distributed to specific parties. As a result, the country's primary financial strong areas remained unaffected, and the 2018 elections were held. However, she continued, the Imran-driven government's support for the IMF programme worsened the financial situation and sparked the worst expansion ever.

Maryam claimed that the previous PMLN administration had maintained consistent prices for essential goods, including as wheat flour at Rs 35/kg, sugar at Rs 55/kg, and edible oil at Rs 140 per litre. She claimed that the agreement between the PTI system and the IMF caused inflation and a financial crisis, and that its infringement further destroyed the situation. As a result, the officeholder government had no choice but to acknowledge the dire circumstances, which were being forced by the international lender.

Maryam Nawaz expressed her support for the South Punjab region's economic development and promised that the PMLN will uphold its commitment to the area's residents' wishes. She claimed that the PMLN was fully ready to enter the national political contest.
